Yesterday, Thomas’s Academy welcomed Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, The Ambassador of Nepal on his visit to a conference held on our new top floor for delegates from many UK charities working out in Nepal. The conference was organised by The Cairn Trust, and the welcome party was organised by our Year Six House Captains! It was an honour to welcome such an esteemed guest. Last year our children spent a week learning all about Nepal and the work of the Cairn Trust and we plan to return to this theme in the Spring Term as part of our Think Globally Cornerstone.
